Václav Havel Human Rights Prize 2026

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) invites nominations for the Václav Havel Human Rights Prize, which rewards outstanding civil society action in defending human rights in Europe and beyond. The prize recognizes individuals and NGOs who have made significant differences in human rights situations, uncovered systemic violations, or successfully mobilized public opinion for their causes.
