Marine Conservation Finance Research Call – WIOMSA MARG 2026

WIOMSA and the Blue Nature Alliance are seeking early-career researchers and graduate students to conduct field-based research on marine conservation finance in the Western Indian Ocean region. The research aims to strengthen understanding of sustainable financing systems for marine protected areas, coastal communities, and blue economy initiatives. Topics include financing needs assessment, revenue diversification strategies, governance structures, and financial resilience linked to conservation outcomes.
