ICGEB offers fully-funded PhD fellowships in life sciences and biotechnology for nationals of Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda. The 3-year program (with possible 1-year extension) is hosted at ICGEB laboratories in Trieste (Italy), New Delhi (India), or Cape Town (South Africa), in collaboration with partner universities. Applicants must hold a BSc (Honours) for Trieste or an MSc for New Delhi and Cape Town placements.
