Eleanor Roosevelt Human Rights Internship Program 2026

This internship program, operated by the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission's Democratic staff in the U.S. House of Representatives, offers semester-length full-time positions for upper-level undergraduate, graduate, and law students passionate about human rights and foreign policy. Interns conduct research, draft policy materials, support congressional briefings, and engage with human rights activists and policymakers. One intern per trimester receives a $1,000 monthly stipend, and academic credit may be available depending on university requirements.
